Mid-State Kart Club's 'Great Pumpkin Fall Classic' was a great success again for this Springfield, Illinois group and the story and pictures are in November's lineup. Indianapolis Raceway Park hosts the season finale of the Championship Enduro Series. SKUSA brings us news on the upcoming Supernationals 7 in Las Vegas this coming November. Many tracks and club's pay tribute this month to our country's armed forces fighting for liberty overseas. In July we see race reports from SKUSA, Badger Kart Club, Burris Circle Tour, Championship Enduro Series, Chapel Hill Pavement Series, Deleware Dirt Divisionals, the Maufacturer's Cup and the Gold Cup Series to name a few!

Road America is the place to be in June if you are into long-track kart racing. Badger Kart Club hosts the wildly popular Road America Supernational and we have race reports and pictures from the event inside. With over 1000 entries this year it is fast becoming the race to be at each year! June also sees clubs and series' racing well-underway and the competition is intense. This month brings plenty of news from SKUSA and the Stars of Tomorrow programs. Check out the great feature article from Janice Bond of PR2DAY on Texas karter Tim Silence and also something else from the Lone Star state, a report on the Allen Johnston Memorial Race at NTK. The month of May also brings us race reports from season openers of many Midwestern series' including MSKC, MKK and the Burris Circle Tour among others.

April brings us the race report from Clay City Kart Speedway's "Cabin Feaver" race and a special aticleby Joe Brittin on Midwest racer & engine builder Kent Laukaitis. Red Bull announces plans to expand the number of drivers with a chance to earn a spot in its innovative drver search program. Also included are reports from the first of the season's races and more news and schedules released from clubs, tracks and karting businesses.

Margay.com announced as Title Sponsor of the 2003 Championship Enduro Series and Intrepid Kart announces it will become Title Sponsor of the IRA's Pro Shifter Series. SKUSA kicks off the season with the first round of the Pro Moto Tour in Florida and we get a look at Franklin Motorsports' new kart & engine package along with much more news from all over the country.

Story and pictures from the IRA banquet and the Midwest Racing Expo & Swap Meet are available this month. Badger Kart Club announces they will run a BKC Bridgestone Tire Championship points race at Blackhawk Farms the weekend of July 12-13, 2003 during the Blackhawk Farms Road Race Nationals. February also sees lots of news from higher up the open-wheel ladder along with more schedules and news from area kart clubs & tracks.

It's the middle of the winter and a lot is happening in the karting world. Most are gearing up for Kart Expo International or a trade show and swap meet near them. Tracks and clubs are finalizing schedules for the upcoming season and well-known dealer JM Racing ends their distribution agreement with TonyKart.

- December
A worldwide record 930 dirt kart racers from around the country entered the Uni-Select Parts Plus Auto Stores 12th Annual Indoor Dirt Kart National Championships presented by JAM Promotions November 29-30 at the Tunica Arena & Exposition Center in Tunica, Michigan. Pre-registration opens for Kart Expo 2003 and series' and clubs hold their banquets and release plans for next year.

November brings us plenty of news of new equipment release and tests for the 2003 season. Mid-States Kart Club holds the favorite "Fall Classic" with great success and fun for all. The dirt season winds down with coverage from the 12th Annual Indoor Dirt Championships and let's not forget the SKUSA Supernationals in Las Vegas.

Fall is here and so are the year-end championship races for most tracks. The MG Tires Championship Enduro Series finishes up the season at GingerMan Raceway while the well known "Fall Classic" packed them in for this venerable Burris Circle Tour race!
