The season is just about halfway over for MKK, with plenty of racing still ahead. The weather was great and the track was hot for the two-cycleš 15 lap feature races.

Mikie Breiner #13 lead the Spec 100 Jr. SSX class into their feature race. Breiner has the points lead in the class with five feature wins of six races. As Breiner took first position, Sam Lee #3 and Carter Ammerman #2 made contact leaving Lee in second and Ammerman in third. As Breiner's lap times got faster, the gap between first and second place grew, only to find Breiner closing in on lapped traffic. In his last lap around the track, Breiner attempted to pass lapped traffic Jason Gour #8, only to make contact and slide off the track. With only seconds to loose, Breiner drove his kart back onto the track with Sam Lee charging around the corner ready to take the first place position. Mikie Breiner #13 ended up taking first just seconds before Sam Lee #3 in second and Carter Ammerman #2 in third for their double-points feature. After post-race inspection, karts #3 and #2 were found to have mechanical disqualifications for fuel.

The HPV-4 Heavy class has been an exciting class to watch since the beginning of the season. With usually 10-14 drivers in the class and all lap times within 2.5 seconds of each other, these karts run fast and drive hard. Matt Wilkey #94 took pole position with his brother Ben Wilkey #95 in outside pole. David Skinner #89 took second row inside and Chuck Yoder #10 on outside. As the green flag dropped, the Wilkey brothers came out of the first turn going side by side, with Ben coming out ahead, out of the second turn, and Matt following close behind with David Coates #3 in third and Chuck Yoder #10 running fourth. Yoder passed Coates, moving up to third place, with the Wilkey brothers in first and second, Ben in the lead. Around the halfway point, Matt passed Ben giving Matt not only the lead in this feature, but also in the points race. Matt Wilkey #94 finished in first, Ben Wilkey #95 in second and Chuck Yoder #10 in third.

Click to Enlarge!Yamaha Pipe/Spec 100 Med feature started with Anthony Delp #22 on pole, Erik Fisher #38 on outside pole, Dave Delp #3 second row inside and Trevor Graegin #32 outside. A four-kart spin out of the first turn left Anthony Delp #22 in first position, Jody Emmons #21 in second and Jerry Lockrey #95 in third. Fisher and Dave Delp were pushed to the back of the drivers, having to work for their points. Lockrey and Emmons fought for second place much of the race, as Anthony Delp stretched his lead out farther. Lockrey set himself up on the inside to pass Emmons on the front straight and pushed Emmons back to third, only to have Emmons pass him back on the next turn, regaining second place position. Fisher worked his way up from the back into fifth position by the halfway point. Lockrey made his way around Emmons for the last time, with Fisher then passing Emmons for third place. The race finished with Anthony Delp #22 in first, Jerry Lockrey #95 in second and Erik Fisher #38 in third. After post-race tech inspection, karts #22 and #3 were found to have mechanical disqualifications because of fuel, therefore, Jerry Lockrey #95 won first place.
