Four-Hour Endurance Race returns to Sonoma, Nov. 22-23 SONOMA, CA - Jim Russell International Karting will host the 2nd annual Four-Hour Endurance race for IAME BM/Parilla and Rotax racers Nov. 22nd-23rd at the Infineon Raceway Karting Center (formerly Sears Point Raceway). The event is sponsored by Yokohama Tire, Jim Russell International Karting, and ekartingnews.com. Drivers will have a chance to compete on one of the premier karting venues in the country, featuring a 16-turn, three-quarter mile track. The facility has hosted a total of 10 race weekends in 2003, including a round of the CART Stars of Tomorrow Series Championship, a SKUSA race, and the Jim Russell Karting Championship. Each team is allowed a minimum of three drivers, making this a true endurance race. Entries are limited to 30 teams. Each member of the winning team will receive a free set of Yokohama road tires for their car or truck, while the second place team will each receive a free set of Yokohama kart tires. Third place will each receive a Yokohama jacket. Additional prizes are in the works and will be announced shortly.
