Monza Kart chassis line now available in U.S. THREE OAKS, MI - The Monza Kart line of products is now available through importer, MRP Motorsport. Manufactured in Italy by Birel, the Monza Kart is a true Birel innovation in terms of the latest homologation. Consisting of two models, the Z32-C for 125cc shifter kart racing and the Z32-A for the 100cc and 80cc shifter market. Accessories, including the new fairings, are from the Freeline product line. "We are very excited to offer the Monza Kart line to the North American karting market," said Garry Lobaugh, MRP owner. "This line of products offers both our dealers, potential dealers and customers with a premier product, including Freeline components, at a price that is much lower than what premium products are currently selling for." The goal of the Monza line is to help capture a large segment of the karting market that is unwilling to pay the high premium prices of an established brand name line. To achieve this goal the Monza Kart's retail pricing is very competitive by not passing on to the consumer costs resulting from "official" competition efforts and advertising, which is not currently planned. Due to this strategy and more economical accessories, Birel technology has now become more affordable. Karts are in stock now ready for 2004 and new dealers are being sought after to distribute to the karting market.
