    US 24 ROTAX Team Endurance Championship

    WARREN, AR - The second annual US 24 Hour Rotax Team Endurance Championships officially got underway today May 9th at Kartways of Arkansas beautiful 7/10th-mile raceway in Warren Arkansas. The weather has been exceptionally sunny and warm for two days of practice and now for today's "Run for the Pole."

    A bit of a supprise as the Number two team from BTK Motorsports in Alabama captured the pole from defending champions and heavily favored BTK Motorsports team number one. BTK team number one features the likes of former RMC National Champion and World finalist Tim Lobaugh as well as many time IKF/WKA National Champion Mack MacCormack. Third place on the starting grid will be the returning team from Quebic, Canada lead by the MacPhierson brothers.

                     1.  BTK Motorsports #2       Alabama         2:50.95
                     2.  BTK Motorsports #1       Alabama         2:52.11
                     3.  Team Canada                   Quebec           2:54.10
                     4.  EMI / Community Bank  Arkansas        2:54.26
                     5.  Taco Bell Racing             Texas              2:59.75

    A special qualifying run of four combined timed laps makes up time trials at this very exciting event.

    With only one short practice scheduled for Friday morning, the second annual 24 HOUR Team Champion event will begin at 11 AM. 32 drivers will contest for the title. This event has been called by many as the most "FUN" event in Karting today.
