JM Racing announces 4-Kart campaign in ICA for 2003 CART Stars of TomorrowSAN DIMAS, CA - JM racing will be fielding 4 Avanti-Parilla-Vega packages in ICA in the West Coast CART Stars of Tomorrow series. The JM Racing team has been busy testing at Grange and Buttonwillow in preparation for an all-out assault on the National Championship. JM Racing, which has a reputation for bringing young drivers up to the national level and turning them into karting stars, will be fielding 4 young international drivers. They are: Andrew Alfonso, 19 from San Francisco California, Scott Meadow, 19 from Anaheim California, Mathias Rodrigo Calderon Wilhelm, 15 from Quito Ecuador and Sebastian Martin Andrade, 15 also from Quito Ecuador. The drivers have various International karting and auto racing experience and have shown their speed in pre-season testing. Andrade raced last season in JICA in Italy for the factory CRG team, he previously raced in JICA, Formula A and Parilla 125 in South America. Wilhelm raced primarily in South America in JICA, Formula A and Parilla 125, winning the 2001 Formula A Ecuadorian National Championship. Andy Alfonso was a driver to beat in the Rotax Max series and in ICC the last few seasons, finishing 4th in the American Rotax Max Nationals last year. Scott Meadow has just won his first Formula Russell race at Sears Point and was Champion in the F2 class in the KRC series in Southern California last season. |
