Kart Expo expands, adds hours and more WHEATON, IL - Due to the overwhelming demand for booth space at the 2003 Kart Expo International held this past February (18 companies were on the waiting list), Kart Expo management has contracted space for an additional 70 booths at Pheasant Run Resort and Convention Center in St. Charles, Illinois. This is a huge 33% increase in space, an additional 12,320 square feet, for the event, which will be held February 21-22, 2004. The two exposition rooms; the convention center (Hall #1) and ball room (Hall #2) - are connected by a walkway which will make it very convenient for attendees to see all the international kart racing show has to offer. In addition to the added booth space, the show itself will remain open 2 additional hours on Saturday, (until 8:00PM). This change will afford show goers ample time to see the over 50,000 square feet of karts and accessories from around the world. New show hours are: Saturday - 9:00AM-Noon (Trade Only), Noon - 8:00PM (Public) and Sunday 10:00AM - 4:00PM (Public). One other change will be the addition of a new 2-day pass for those who would like to visit the trade fair on both Saturday and Sunday. The cost of the two-day pass will be $12.00. A savings of $2 over single day admission! The 2-day pass will be available at the gate. Pheasant Run Holds Room Rates After intense negotiations, Pheasant Run Resort and Convention Center, the host hotel of Kart Expo International, has agreed to hold the room rates for at least the next two years at the same rate as 2003.
