Dave's Performance working with MRP Motorsport to build strong West Coast campaign TEMECULA, CA - Dave's Performance recently announced their switch to Birel racing chassis for the 2003 racing season. The popular Temecula, CA-based operation have struck a relationship with Birel importer, MRP Motorsport, to become an authorized dealer for the world championship Birel and Freeline brand of karting products. The new association will bolster the West coast representation of Birel karts and parts as Dave's Performance and MRP Motorsport will work together to provide a strong "racer support program" similar to what has already been successful for MRP's racing division in the Eastern U.S. "We are very excited to announce this change and new relationship," said Dave Thompson, CEO of Dave's Performance. "We have the ability now to provide better customer and trackside support on the local and regional level then ever before. With MRP's assistance, we will also be able to provide top-notch "arrive and drive" programs and factory mechanics and tuners at major West Coast venues as well." Dave's Performance is still in the process of building their 2003 race team for an assault on all of the West Coast racing programs. The team will target and support the IKF Region 7, SKUSA ProMoto Western Tour, SKUSA Mission Region as well as many Stars of Tomorrow events. "We currently have spots open for drivers of all skill levels," said Thompson. "The great thing about this racer support program is that we can provide valuable training and support for the beginner as well as factory tuners and prep for the veteran SuperPro driver. There is a growing need for this level of trackside support to help bring the sport to the next level." For MRP Motorsport, the largest importer for Birel and Freeline products in North America, the association with Dave's Performance strengthens the representation of the Birel brand even more.
