Franklin Motorsports to market new Kart & Engine package

MILWAUKEE, WI - The Mayko Corporation based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin has just announced the introduction of an all-new kart & engine package. The vehicle is called the "eXciter" and has undergone extensive testing and development for almost two years. Because it is aimed at the "Adult Recreational Racer" segment of the population it was designed with several key features for the "over 40" drivers in mind. The wheelbase is longer than a typical kart to accommodate taller drivers. The frame rails are also wider in the back for easy fitting of any size seat.

The standard eXciter seat is a form fitting design that is fully covered with a carpet-like material for added comfort and grip for the driver. The chassis features 4-wheel billet calipers with vented discs and reservoir master cylinders for less maintenance. All components are permanently marked with the eXciter logo and part number for easy service, and to control costs and maintain complete equality in the racing format. Several organizations are making this an "All Spec" class. It's perfectly suited for Sprint, Road Race, and Oval tracks.

The free air-cooled overhead cam 4 stroke Yamaha engine is a perfect match for the eXciter package. "It has a great combination of power and torque ideal for this package"! It's six speed transmission shifts easy and adds to the race car flavor of the package. It features a pressure fed oiling system and cleanable oil filter for long oil and component life. Electric start with built in charger makes this a very convenient, easy to use, and low maintenance package. Even the pro circuit exhaust is stainless steel with an aluminum silencer.

Comments from test drivers like Larry Streeter of Streeter Super Stands, said: "It's a shifter kart without all the work"! Thirty-eight year old Indy Car driver Steve Knapp said; "You got a winner! It's fun to drive, but not as violent as a 125."

The frame is a brilliant metalic silver and graphics are available in blue, red, or black. The eXciter has a suggested retail price of $6,195 complete and will only be sold though authorized dealers with business operations to properly service the customers. Deliveries are being scheduled for the end of March of this year. For a free color brochure or dealer inquires contact, 414-764-3519.
