Courter makes Red Bull Driver Search

DENVER, CO - Dustin Courter, one of the four local winners in the Red Bull Driver Search held at the Denver Indoor Karting Facility can indeed be thankful he is one of the final four. He participated in the run-off as a wild card.

Dustin did not learn about the competition till May 13th, the last day of the competition. After spending a great deal of time on the phone with organizers of the Red Bull Driver Search and the facility in Denver it was concluded that if he could be at the Indoor Karting Facility in 45 minutes and do a qualifying run that was compatible to the times which had been ran; he could enter the competition as a Wild Card. The need to be there in just 45 minutes was a test in it's self, as it meant driving across Denver during Rush Hour. There could not be any hold ups, otherwise he could not have met the deadline.

Ten finalists had made it to the final round and Dustin's qualifying run gave him the fastest lap turned which then gained him entry into the competition as a wild card. Dustin went on to turn the fastest lap of the final round of competition giving him the opportunity to continue on to the next phase of the Red Bull Driver Search program along with three other very deserving competitors. Smoothness and driver finesse was the common factor that these four drivers shared which allowed them to advance to the next level of competition.

Dustin Courter is from Englewood, Colorado and is competing in the Cart-Stars West National series this year.
