JM Racing is ready for Round 3 & 4 of the CART Stars of Tomorrow in ColoradoSAN DIMAS, CA - After an impressive start to the 2003 CART Stars of Tomorrowšs series, where Andrew Alfonso won Round 2 in ICA, JM Racing/ Avanti have been testing in preparation for round 3 and 4 in Colorado on June 7th & 8th. Sebastian Andrade and Mathias Calderon made the trip from Quito Ecuador to join Californian, Scott Meadow for some testing at Grange Motor Circuit over the Memorial Day weekend. Meadow is coming off a dominating win in the Rotax Max International class in the Golden State My-Chron 3 Cup race at Grange. All 3 drivers have turned impressive times, and have accomplished a lot during the 3-day weekend. Andrew Alfonso has been busy testing near his home in San Francisco as well, and is looking to carry the momentum from the first two rounds to Colorado; Alfonso leads the points in ICA. In ICC, both Ryan Yop and Sean Neilson have also been busy testing their Avanti-TM in preparation for round 3 and 4 in Colorado. Neilson has been keeping sharp by racing in the Golden State My-Chron 3 Cup, while Yop has been testing around his home in Salinas, California. Both drivers are keen to improve from their results in round 1 & 2. Billy Johnson, who qualified a fine 4th at Buttonwillow, was busy testing his red Alex Barron signature edition Barron-Avanti TM at Grange as well during the Memorial Day weekend. He too is a regular in the Golden State My-Chron 3 Cup, racing in the Super Spec Series. This will be Johnsonšs first race in the Barron and the Barron-Avantišs debut in the CART Stars of Tomorrow.
