As a part of the new joint regional operations with the World Karting Association, the Northwest region for Stars is the first to reflect this new structure for 2003. "We are very excited to take up exactly where we left off at the end of last year with our SKUSA regional series," said Stan Etienne, the Director Of Marketing for Speed Eventz. "The opportunity for us to align ourselves now with the CART Stars of Tomorrow Northwest region will only put additional impetus to what is already one of the fastest growing karting areas in all of North America". "In addition to the Stars national classes which we will fully support, the Stars Northwest region will provide continuity for all those who have raced with us in the past," said Speed Eventz Operations Director Mike Boutwell. "This will include all Moto classes, 35 and over, Heavy and Rotax. We will be sending out specific information about all classes and rules in the very near future." Poulsbo RV was named as the title sponsor for all 2003 Speed Eventz karting races. Poulsbo RV is one of the largest sellers of motorcoach and motorhome products on the West Coast and has many locations throughout the Northwest.
