    New 'Tag' class added

    NIAGARA FALLS, NY - The Great Lakes Sprint Series plans to add the new TAG Class to their program. On the same day, Rodney Berryhill also announced his alternative spec motor class based from Oklahoma Motorsports Complex, would be the TAG name as well.

    The class, according to information indicates that the 125-cc Electric Start motors will be run together. Senior Drivers 15 yrs & up / Masters 35 yrs & up, Airbox as supplied with engine, Exhaust that is homologated with specific engine. Engines: Rotax Max, Parilla Leopard, Vortex ROK, Italsistem ML 47H and any engines added by those organizations for the 2003 season. Additional specs as follows:
    * Fuel as supplied at the events
    * Min weight GLSS 375 lb / OMC 385 lb
    * Tires GLSS YHC or YGK Bridgestone only / OMC CALL

    There are other series and single events (such as the U.S.A. 24 hour event) that are currently considering adding the TAG class to their program.
