Jim Pfeifer passes away WEST CHICAGO, IL - James (Jim) J. Pfeifer, owner of Pfeifer Industries in West Chicago, Illinois died suddenly on Tuesday, December 2,2003. Pfeifer, 53, a machinist by trade, developed belt drive systems for the karting industry. An active karter in the 1970's, he is survived by his wife Linda and two young daughters, Lesley and Molly, and his father Raymond. Services were held Saturday, December 6, 2003 at Salerno's Rosedale Chapel and internment was at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, Illinois. Our condolences to the Pfeifer family.
