16th Annual U.S. Open Indoor National Championships SYRACUSE, NY - New York State Fairgrounds was the venue again this year for the exciting racing of the U.S. Open Indoor National Championships. Held on March 13th & 14th, sixteen years and going strong as ever, the U.S. Open Indoor National Championships was hosted by karting industry standouts TCM Racing and Race Safe Systems. Competition was fierce this year with 140 entries in fourteen classes from the various Junior & Stock classes to US820 and Pro 4-Cycle classes. Four different drivers won championships this year in two classes each. They were: Eric Rudolph - Jr. Sportsman Heavy & Jr. Restricted, Pat Pollack - Stock Heavy & Stock Super Heavy, Kevin Ward - Masters & Unlimited 4-Cycle, and John Henderson - US 820 Muffler & US 820 Tuned Pipe. The spectators and crews were an intrigral part of the show as almost three hundred cheered the racers on from the grandstands and another four hundred rooted from the pits.
