Craig Finer to develop marketing plans for SKUSA National & Regional

DUBLIN, OH - One of the principle objectives for SKUSA in 2003 is to focus on additional core regional development. Of the approximate 2000 driving members of SKUSA last year, over 95% were regional competitors only. These statistics clearly point out where most members race. "The health and vitality of each region is essential to the layered structure of driver development within our sport," reports Jim Murley, SKUSA CEO.

Craig Finer will head market and sponsor development for SKUSA on both National and Regional fronts. "Mr. Finer is working very closely with me in developing critical business marketing partners for SKUSA National. The motor sports world as a whole has a huge dependency on such relationships. Each of these relationships is based on solid business plans to develop new business on the part of the marketing partner through the intelligent investment of advertising dollars. These sponsors are in the habit of investing in their future by buying into motor sport's ability to assist in their marketing," continued Murley.

Mr. Finer is hard at work in developing strategies that support a potential marketing partner's interests. Finer's efforts will not solely be for the benefit of SKUSA National. Craig is preparing a series of Regional Teleconferences to better understand the unique challenges each regional director faces in an effort to better prepare each Regional Director in the pursuit of regional level marketing partners.

"The challenges at SKUSA National are no different than each of the Region's, they're just bigger. We all share in the need for a professional like Mr. Finer to focus his skills on the SKUSA challenges. Craig shares a basic premise with Murley: You can work on raising your own ship but, if you work on raising the tide, all the ships will come with it," Murley concluded.
