    Season Opens at South Bend Raceway Park with MKK

    SHERIDAN, IL - Will winter ever end? Seems an eternity since the awards banquet, and even longer since the season championship. Have we really been bench racing for five months?

    Well, better get those tires ordered, racing seasons is just around the corner. South Bend Raceway Park opens for practice on the weekend of April 5th and 6th. SBRP is just the track to practice those new ideas you've been pondering this winter. The large track offers three different layouts for the season. Also uphills, downhills, hairpins and a dog leg. This season, SBRP will host:
    Midwest Sprint Series on June 21-23
    WKA Horstman Gold Cup Series on July 3-6
    SKUAS Great Lakes Region on July 25-27
    Great Lakes Sprint Series on September 13-14
    Rotax Max Regional Series -TBA

    Michiana Kart Klub will start their 12-race season on April 13 at SBRP. This year, MKK will run 22 classes and open tires. MKK has a reputation of running a competitive, quality racing program. Along with their ongoing tech program, MKK has an end of season awards banquet where only MKK members can participate in the prizes. The club is now open for new membership.
