Extreme Karting signs Jason Bowles and Preston Peltier to factory teamANAHEIM, CA - Extreme Karting announced the addition of two more phenomenal talents to the already potent factory race team for 2003. Southern California's Jason Bowles and East Coast road racing standout Preston Peltier have agreed to run for the Anaheim based karting powerhouse. Jason Bowles, formerly with MSKart, will compete in the CART Stars of Tomorrow onboard a Darcy Decoste tuned, VM powered, CRG Road Rebel. Bowles, excited about the switch, is highly optimistic for the 2003 season. "I am very excited about driving for Extreme," commented Bowles. "With what they accomplished in 2002, it's obvious they possess the winning package and I hope to add to their list of accomplishments." On the other side of America, Preston Peltier will plant the flag for Extreme Karting on the east coast, as he has signed on to campaign the SKUSA Pro Moto eastern division. Coming from a successful road racing background with numerous championships to his credit, Peltier is poised to deliver results onboard his Honda powered CRG Road Rebel. Owner Tom Kutscher was enthused about the new additions to the team. "With what we accomplished last season, I did not think it could get any better. With the squad we are putting together for 2003 - it seems only natural to strive for team of the year honors once again," explained a jubilant Kutscher. With the first West Coast SKUSA Pro-Moto round only weeks away, Extreme Karting is confident of their chances. Extreme Karting is Southern California's premiere shop for shifter kart racing parts and accessories. Founded in 1999 by Tom Kutscher, Extreme Karting has evolved into one of the nation's most respected kart shops and race teams, including being awarded the 2002 Shifter Kart Team of the Year award by Shifter Kart Illustrated magazine. |
