    Woodbridge Kart Club news

From Jay Hillmer (Board of Directors)
Woodbridge Kart Club will once again run the Team Race on Saturday, September 21, time and weather permitting. The race will be 30 minutes long, run Piston Port Can rules, and have separate classes for sprint and enduro. Normal entry fees apply but please list yourself and your co-driver on the entry. Because this is a once a year event, it will not carry points or year-end awards.

WKC PISTON PORT CAN SPRINT 320 - Woodbridge Kart Club will try a proposed new class, WKC Piston Port Can Sprint 320, during the August and September WKC races at Summit Point. The future of the class will be based on the number of entries during the last two race weekends of the 2002 season and the impact the class has on entries in the Piston Port Can 360 class. The rules for the class are the same as those for the Piston Port Can Sprint 340 class except minimum weight is 320lbs. As this is a test class, there will be no points or year-end awards. This class will not be on the pre-registration form or the track registration form. It will be priced at the pre-registration rates at the track and for pre-registration.
