SAN DIMAS, CA - After 30 years in Karting, Jean Marchioni of JM racing has finally decided to introduce his own Kart. What makes this kart so special? Thirty years of karting experience, but more importantly, fifteen years of experience in America. The JM Kart is especially tailored for the American tracks and American series' with Italian flair.

So what about the name? A name must not only be catchy but mean something as well, and Avanti means a lot to JM Racing. "Avanti" in Italian means going forward, and the Avanti Kart is a sure sign of JM Racing moving forward. But Avanti really means something else, something very special too: without Avanti, Jean Marchioni might have never been introduced to karting, and might never have made karting his life long passion and career for 30+years. Because Avanti is also the name of Jean Marchioni's father, the man who took him to his first Formula 1 race at age three, bought him his first kart and taught Jean the ins and outs of karts and kart racing. Therefore, Avanti is the perfect name for JM Racing's next step...our very own kart line!

There will be a 125cc Avanti, 100cc, 4-Cycle, Cadet and baby kart. The karts are available at JM Racing beginning in December 2002.
