It was confirmed today that Saukville, Wisconsin's Jamie Bach will be honored on Friday, January 10, 2003 at the Wisconsin Motorsports Charities Banquet in downtown Milwaukee. Bach will be awarded the 2003 ROAD RACER of the YEAR award. While final descriptions of the award and all former recipients will be forthcoming in a more complete news release, this news brief informs B-K insiders about this special honor.

Bach joins some terrific company by being named a 2003 Honoree. David Hobbs will serve as Master of Ceremonies to the event which has, in the past, honored motorsports names like Arie Luyendyk, Eddie Cheever, Jr., IMS Preisdent Tony George, Derek Bell, Brian Redman, Derek Daly, and Rusty Wallace...to name a few. The 2002 ROAD RACER AWARDS went to Peter Cunningham and Boris Said.
