    Genesis Racing release 2002 Race-Plan

    MARCH 9, 2002 - Genesis Racing of Vancouver B.C would like to announce their plans for the 2002 racing season. The official team will be comprised of several talented drivers mainly from the Vancouver area. Genesis has been successful in the past years on the Northwest karting scene as well as on the Canadian national scene. This year there are plans for expansion for the official racing team who will be moving towards competition southbound in the California and Nevada areas.

    As Official Factory importers for the CRG chassis line, the drivers will be aboard CRG Road Rebel chassis' competing in the ICC classes at the NAKA 'Stars of Tomorrow' Sears Point region, as well as the SKUSA Pro-Moto Supernationals and The 'Stars of Tommorow Finals' in Las Vegas using SGM L198 powerplants. The drivers running for the Genesis Team will be northwest karting regulars Kevin Glover and Steve Rickman as well as newcomers Ryan Wallace and Geoff Shoji.

    In addition to the senior drivers Scott Rossi will be heading up the cadet class for Genesis/CRG also at these Naka events. The teams first event will be at the first round of the Willow Springs Naka region where they will also field several drivers in the ICA class using Maxter ICA engines tuned in house by Paul Rickman of Genesis.
