MENOMONIE, WI - On a hot and humid Saturday evening July 6th, Thunder Hill Speedway once again held kart races on it's small dirt oval near Menomonie. A good crowd of fans were on hand to witness three new winners make their way to victory lane where awards were presented by Otter Acres Plaques and Trophies.

Jon Peters took the lead at the start of the Stock Medium Main Event and never looked back to win his first feature race of the season over last weeks winner Jeff Reetz. Jim Giossi notched his first victory of the year when he held off Mark Alton for the win in Stock Heavy Competition and Tanner Bohlen traveled all the way from Hortonville, WI, to capture his first win in the very competitive Junior II Division over Tyler Jandt.

Returning after a leave-of-absence, Andrew Brody stopped Evan Quilling's winning streak at two when Brody took the checkers ahead of Quilling in the Stock Light Feature.

Logan Loesch took the lead on the second lap and was on the point the rest of the race to win the Junior I Feature. Dennis Johnson scored his second win of the season in Senior Sportsman Action and Ryan Smith led all the way to carry the checkers after the Junior Sportsman Feature.

Last but not least, the girls had their chance to compete in the Powder Puff Race and Amber Westaby outran six of her competitors to take top honors.
