Sinz dominates Winged Outlaws on ThunderHill's clay oval By Rog & Judy Cummings MENOMONIE, WI - It was a special night at Thunder Hill Speedway Saturday as extra awards were presented to drivers and fans by Bill Keyes Chevy-Olds. Todd Sinz was on a mission winning the 12 lap Winged Outlaw Feature and both of his heats. It was Sinz's second triumph of the season. Sinz dominated the feature, leading the entire distance and becoming the first driver to score a second victory in that division. John Cartmill, who was the runner-up, took a couple of shots at Sinz on restarts, but the Cedar Falls Flash controlled the race and went on to grab the checkers. Matt McCauley led every circuit to claim the victory in Junior I action. Last weeks winner, Jesse Glenz, came from third place to make a late race challenge for the win, but McCauley endured. Gene Supri padded his points lead by outrunning Wayne Hassemer to the line in the Senior Sportsman Feature, Steve Alton topped the Stock Medium Division and Jason Supri carried the checkers after the Stock Light Main. Corey Kaczorowski made a dazzling drive from the pole to carry the checkers for the second time this year in the Junior II Division. Abbey Roschen got her third win of the season in Junior Sportsman and Reggie Moe picked up the first victory of his young career in Novice. Both the Stock Heavy and Blue Wazoom honors went to Jake Alton, while Robert Alton won the Mechanic's race. Cody Plumbing of Roberts, Wisconsin, will be presenting trophies to the drivers next time at THS.
