"Championship Enduro Series welcomes back MG Tires as Title Sponsor" ANTIOCH, IL - The Championship Enduro Series (CES), America's finest kart road racing series, announces the continuation of Mg Tires as the series' title sponsor for the 2002 season. Back for the third year, MG Tires' commitment to the CES has been outstanding and rewarding for both the company and the series alike. MG Tires is a Brazilian tire manufacturer dominating the sport of karting in that country, and through its North American distributor WR International is making tremendous strides in this country as well. MG Tire's offers a line of tires for all types of racing karts. 2002 will see the MG Tires Championship Enduro Series visiting five separate racetracks out of a six-race season. Starting out the season near St. Louis, MO at Gateway Int'l Raceway, the CES has come to think of this facility as a 'home track' providing excellent facilities, a premier racetrack and great staff members. Next on the schedule is a stop at the Dunlop Tire Road America Super Nationals hosted by Badger Kart Club. This event is sure to be great! The middle of July will see the MG Tires CES back at everybody's favorite racetrack, Grattan Raceway, in Belding, Michigan. The second half of the season will start with a visit in August to the far reaches of Iowa and a newly constructed racetrack in Grand Junction, the Mid-America Motorplex. Ending out the month, the series will be back at Gateway Int'l Raceway for its second visit to the high banks in Madison, Illinois. With three weeks off to prepare, the series finale will occur at GingerMan Raceway in South Haven, Michigan on September 20-22, 2002.
