"CART Stars of Tomorrow announces final dates for 2002 series" PALM SPRINGS, CA ­ The racing schedule for the 2002 CART Stars of Tomorrow series is now complete with the finalization of the Ocala, Florida dates. They are: February 23-24 May 25/26 March 30-31 June 8-9 April 27-28 July 27-28 In addition, there is a change of dates in the Sears Point, California series. The event originally scheduled on March 30-31, which is Easter, has been moved to August 10-11. The CART Stars of Tomorrow regional championship series consists of six events at several locations around the country. The competitors will count their best four races for points qualifying them for an invitation to the Grand Nationals at the Las Vegas Kart Center in November. The CART Stars of Tomorrow series will use the CART points/scoring system.
