Kaczorowski takes third win of the season at ThunderHill MENOMONIE, WI (July 13, 2002)- It was another beautiful evening for racing at Thunder Hill Speedway with a full field of karts on hand to compete in the 10 divisions of racing action, and a great crowd cheered on their favorite drivers. Dean and Sue's Bar and Grill sponsored the night's activities. The Junior I Division is made up of drivers who are in the age group of seven to eleven years of age. The age is young, but the level of competition is one of the highest at the small dirt oval. Logan Loesch from Hastings, Minnesota, is one of the young drivers, and on Saturday night Loesch won his fifth feature event of the season. The current points leader led all 12 laps of the main event and recorded his second win in as many weeks. Loesch took the checkers ahead of Jordan Reetz and Jesse Glenz. In other action, Steve Alton carried the checkers after beating Corey Brown to the line in Stock Medium action. Andrew Brody had another dominating run in the Stock Lights and Mark Alton led his son, Steve, to the line in the Stock Heavy Main. Corey Kaczorowski earned his third win of the season in the Junior II Division by beating Ben Cysiewski to the line. Jake Alton continued his domination of the Blue Wazooms and Gene Supri scored his third season victory in the Senior Sportsmen. Todd Sinz survived a caution filled Winged Outlaw Feature while brothers Lance and Blake Anderson won the Novice and Junior Sportsman Mains. Next week's racing action is to be presented by 24-7 Telcom/Main Street of Menomonie. Along with the regular kart racing program, a special race featuring Grand Prix karts will held as a preliminary to the 24-7 Telcom Grand Prix/Main Street of Menomonie, Inc event scheduled for August 10th.
