"Woodbridge Kart Club elects new club officers"

NOVEMBER 8, 2001 - At its annual meeting on November 7, 2001 the Woodbridge Kart Club membership elected the following people to two year terms (2002-2003) on the Board of Directors: David Norville, Tom Conlon, William Anderson, Jeff Troup and Ron Fleming.

The following directors are serving the second year of a two-year term (2001-2002): Arthur McKenny, Jay Hillmer, Gary E. Schenkel, Jack Foster Jr. and Lynn Fullerton.

The new Board of Directors in their first official act elected the following individuals to the position indicated: President: David Norville; Vice President: Jay Hillmer; Secretary: Arthur McKenny and Interim Treasurer: Lynn Fullerton.

A new membership committee chairperson, Michael Guarino was announced. More information on membership renewal and keeping your permanent kart number will be coming out in the next month or so. A new race registration chairperson will also be selected in the next few months.

Also announced at the November 7th meeting was the complete sellout of the WKC Awards Banquet. There is a chance that some tickets will not be used and available at the door. However, sending an email to Gary Schenkel to be put on a standby list is your best chance if you waited too long to get your tickets.
