"The ROTAX 24 International Endurance Championship"

NOVEMBER 17, 2001 - TCM Racing ( a world leader in motorsports consulting and event operations specializing in the karting industry ) and SSC Racing of Arkansas ( the national center for ROTAX MAX speedway racing programs) are pleased to announce the opening of entries for the newest and most exciting motorsports event to come to North America in the 45 year history of kart racing.

Race Director Tom Argy Jr., International karting and NASCAR Winston Cup official, confirms that he and Event Host Gary Smith, owner of the new Arkansas International Raceway, have held 21 of the 40 total entries for previous customers and companies who have participated in events hosted by both organizations in the past. "We are pleased to serve our usual customers" announces Tom Argy Jr., However Gary Smith adds " It is an honor to invite the world wide motorsports community to this great event and introduce them to kart racing"! Major Corporations who will be participating from Connecticut to California will all soon be linked to the event web site at www.Rotax24.com, which also provides complete details on the complete event.

The IROC Like event features 40 identically prepared Italian CRG Race Chassis powered by 30 HP ROTAX MAX engines capable of speeds in excess of 100 MPH on a beautifully prepaired .71 mile Road Racing course in Warren, Arkansas. Ten drivers will represent each team over the 24 Hours of Wheel to wheel competition. To make the event fair, during on track competition, all trackside pit-stops will be performed by the KARTWAYS own professional staff. The event features additional community activities including championship banquet for both competitors and family. Plans are underway to tape and televise (on a national cable network) the entire event with an emphasis on all the participating teams and their corporate sponsors.

Interest has come from all over the world, from Canada To Australia. Karting Industry members , Regular Endurance Sports Car Teams and even NASCAR Winston Cup teams have all contacted event officials for information and to enter. Many feel this is the most effective and inexpensive means to introduce a future corporate sponsor to the benefits of motorsports involvement in a fully interactive way!
