The U.S. Motor Power company is the sole producer of the US 820 kart racing engines, parts and accessories.
The US 820 motor is the only 2-cycle motor made in the United States. The US 820 has numerous advantages for the racer. It is low coast and low maintenance making the racer's dollar go farther than compared to other motors.
The U.S. Motor Power company has a complete engine dyno shop that ensures the product is of the highest quality before it leaves the factory.
A US 820 motor can be purchased through the vast dealer network that exists, or it can be bought factory direct by the racer.
The US 820 motor is used in the WKA Manufacturers Cup, at the Ravenna Kart Track, the Circleville Kart Track, the South Bend Raceway Park, Joliet Memorial Speedway and the Well Cargo/Dunlop Tire Championship Series.
At the US 41 Sprint Speedway the US 820 class champion was J.D. Gunn. Gunn was the overall track champion totaling the most season championship points for the club.
On site track service for the US 820 motor is provided through the company's vast dealer network.
The U.S Motor Power company employs as its Race Program Manager Todd Thelen. Thelen raced karts for five years with over 100 wins. Thelen currently races midgets with the Badger Midget Auto Racing Association, USAC and MARA.
The U.S. Motor Power Corp.'s hours are 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Walk-in orders are not offered, but phone orders are always accepted. When ordering please use the 800 number of (800) 820-7894.
The U.S. Motor Corp. does offer an annual catalog that is distributed for free.
